NCBT To Host Free Shred Day

WHO:  North Carolina Bank and Trust (NCBT)

WHAT: FREE Shred Day to destroy documents to protect against ID Theft

WHEN: Saturday, October 24, 2009 - 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: NCBT Myers Park Office - 1057 Providence Road in Charlotte

WHY:  "Everyday thousands of individuals have their identify stolen.  One of the
ways to protect against ID theft is to shred documents that contain
personal information," said Frances Barts, banking officer, NCBT.  "We want to help our customers have a safe option for destroying unnecessary documents.  Hopefully, this will increase awareness of the growing problem of Identity Theft and help guard against it."
